Regarding the nature vs. nurture debate, does modern research support Pinker’s emphasis on nature, or has the field taken it in a different trajectory?
Is it better to have it all or to lose it all?
Are there pre-existing conditions to our lives? Do we come into a world that’s already holding us back? How do we escape the restrictions set for our individual personhoods?
How does an individual’s desire affect a community’s practice?
How do the games we create affect the people we become?
Is it a human right to have the ability to transform space into place? Do we have the right to fight for a space that we have laid ownership?
At what point does belief, political ideology, and good intentions prevent us from achieving the goals we set for ourselves?
How are we blinded by things that are not what they seem? Can we ever truly see what something really is despite what it claims to be?
How do expectations interfere with or contribute to our self-understanding?
Can we change our behavior? Or, are we forever doomed to repeat the same mistakes because that’s just who we are?
